Hi there :D
My name is Hayeon Park and I am 23 years old. I'm in third-grade of our school, because I took a year and a half off university and came back this semester. I am majoring in the Department of Business Administration. I attend this class as one of the classes for International Trade which is my co-major.

I love listening to music like you guys. However for me in particular, I enjoy writing lyrics more. I intensively learned about it from Hyeon-bo Sim, a singer-song writer. I think what I love to write is verses rather than proses, which may not necessarily be lyrics. But I would not have known that I loved it from the beginning. I worked for Korea Economy Press writing news articles as a part time job. As time goes by, I thought it was a little bit different with what I wanted to write about. That was the first chance for me to have an interest in other styles of writing. 

What I remember most during my absence from school is my overseas trip. I travelled to Australia from place to place. I had stayed there for around a year while I was working there. I mostly stayed in a city called Adelaide in South Australia. It took only 10 minutes to hang out on the beach from my house. So I was happy because I could often go there regardless whether it was the weekend or weekday. I also visited Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Above all, if you visit Australia someday you should stop by Gold Coast. There are many kinds of splendid theme parks to visit and an awesome beach called Surfers Paradise.

Actually, Travelling to Australia was the first time for me to get along with foreign friends. As I lived there I got to like meeting people of various races. But I still have a fear of speaking in English. I'm trying to make foreign friends as a part of my efforts to surmount that kind of fear since I have returned to Korea. And I hope this class will help me improve speaking and writing in English. Thanks! XD
